Point & Click Game
The goal with this project was to focus on atmosphere, effects, and polish. This was my first point-and-click game and the gameplay was kept intentionally minimal. I took this as an opportunity to learn more about color grading, basic shaders and fx, particle effects, and adaptive audio techniques. This was also my first attempt at a more dour storyline, a departure from my usual light approach to story.
Art-wise, this projects really helped me feel secure in my pixel art skills. I stuck to a palette, focused on variety, and worked with varying scales. With visuals as the main focus, art direction was key and I think it really worked out.
